A lawyer at the Conseil d’Etat and the Court of Cassation since 2014, Claire Rameix-Séguin joined the firm with her team in 2023.
Claire Rameix-Séguin is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP-EAP – Diplôme Grande Ecole 2001). She holds a DEA (M2) in general private law (University of Paris II Panthéon Assas) and a DESS (M2) in business and tax law (University of Paris Sud), as well as a master’s degree in business and tax law (University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas).
She served as secretary of the Conférence du stage des avocats aux Conseils.
She appears before the Conseil d’Etat and the Court of Cassation, and regularly before the Conseil Constitutionnel and the European courts: European Court of Human Rights and Court of Justice of the European Union. Her practice focuses on business law, economic and digital law, banking and insurance law and arbitration.
Claire Rameix-Séguin has developed recognised expertise in domestic and international tax law over many years.
Having spent part of her studies in London, she is able to follow up files in English as required.
Claire Rameix-Séguin is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Institut des avocats conseils fiscaux (IACF), and a member of their Audit and Litigation Commission. She speaks at professional conferences and seminars for tax specialists and at the tax course run by the Ecole de formation du barreau (EFB).
She is deputy co-director of the Institut de Formation des Avocats aux Conseils (IFRAC), where she taught public law and administrative litigation. She was a lecturer in private law and cassation at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
