Loïc Poupot practised for nearly fifteen years as a lawyer at the Paris Bar and as an associate of lawyers at the Conseil d’État and Court of Cassation, before becoming himself a lawyer at the Conseil d’Etat and Court of Cassation in 2014.
A graduate of Sciences-Po Bordeaux, he also holds a master’s degree (M1) in business law from the University of Cergy-Pontoise and a postgraduate diploma (M2) in public law litigation from the University of Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne.
He served as a secretary of the Conférence du stage des avocats aux Conseils.
Loïc Poupot practises in all areas of public law, both in litigation and as a legal adviser, particularly as part of a preventive approach. In particular, he defends the interests of leading public players before all administrative courts. He regularly appears in cases reported to the Conseil d’Etat. Loïc Poupot has developed recognised expertise in sports law, health law, public procurement, town planning, environmental law, regulated professions and regulation.
Before the Court de Cassation, he specialises in insurance, construction, health and employment law.
Loïc Poupot was an associate lecturer in European public law at Sciences-Po Paris.
He is a member of the scientific advisory board of the AJDA review and the author of various articles and contributions.
